Useless objects are the new jewels. 2020

The pandemic gave back time to those who forgot about it. Time to contemplate the world, your own home and the objects of varied scales that it contains. Functional objects and symbolic objects. Time to look at the amount of elements that make up a shirt just bought: metal clips that ensure effective folding, a plastic plane to ensure the non-deformation of the collar, four or five labels, some can be cut, others appear trapped by a small baby pin. This exercise is simply a manifesto. A clip fulfils a short-term function and then integrates the universe of useless objects that contribute to the finite dimension of the planet. It is thus rethought, assumes a modular character, symbolizes a network, a force capable of modifying society and its relationship with nature. Time not to forget the amount of waste that humanity produces.
